Hotels, hos­tels, huts — on switzerland.com you’ll find them all and in every con­ceiva­ble varia­ti­on. The­re’s the right accom­mo­da­ti­on for every need.

But ins­tead of just clai­ming this in our com­mu­ni­ca­ti­on, we are pro­ving it — with a new hotel cate­go­ry that ful­fils a real need:

Bee and insect hotels — right next to exis­ting hotels.

The cam­paign is staged in the style of an inter­na­tio­nal natu­re docu­men­ta­ry, rea­li­sed with Swiss wild­life film­ma­ker Roman Wil­li, among others, and spo­ken by the distinc­ti­ve voice of Eng­lish actor James Faul­k­ner (Down­ton Abbey, Game of Thrones).

The new hotel cate­go­ry for bees, insects, but­ter­flies and hedgehogs.

From the start, 46 Swiss hotels have alre­a­dy joi­n­ed the pro­gram­me. They all now offer accom­mo­da­ti­on for the very youn­gest guests in the imme­dia­te vicinity.

One of 46 ‘Bees & Fri­ends’ hotels: the fairy­ta­le hotel for wild bees — next to the fairy­ta­le hotel (Mär­chen­ho­tel) for fami­lies in Braun­wald. With a bee-fri­end­ly sand­a­ri­um and nes­t­ing boxes.
